We don't know who your clients. You might be referring to those computers which have joined domain to Active Directory and installed with some well-known resource hog antivirus would, of course, experience a snail speed in performance. That is either Windows or AV issues, not Firefox as you make out to be.
Who care what your clients use? what has it got to do with you when you are using the Firefox youself? Just don't let other people affect you.
