alternatively can put a 120mm fan there instead for increased airflow and lower noise, but the HDD cage is blocking. Should I drill out the cage, den mount the fan?
den got another prob: where to put my HDD lol.
my last idea would be to mount the fan behind the HDD (sandwich btw HDD and GPU, but like that cant see the LED clearly..
so how? idea 1,2 or 3? |
the ans to ur question that i gonna to give u is a very simple ans from my point of view just get a new and better casing...
seriously, cm5 is a gd casing small yet able to act as a gaming rig however, very hard to mod due to limited space .
i last time, using the cm5 until very annoy.... the space inside the casing too cramped, cant even put more stuffs into, when u want to put hdd, muz take out gfx first, b4 slot in the hdd.
when using the intel processor, if u want to use the third party cooler, the only option u have is the buy those cooler that provided the intel push pins so that u wont have to take out the MB out of the casing to install the cooler.
currently , most of the high end graphic card is quite big and long. if u put 3 which the max of HDD that u can placed.. u will scared whether hdd is it blocking the gfx watsoever reason .they need a gd airflow to push the hot air out of the casing in order to keep the graphic card cool.
that when, u still need to drill holes at the side to either sux out or blow in cool air to cool down the gfx. that 1 need money if u don know how to drill holes.
above is my Point of View. Ex cm5 user.
