Edit: Something important to consider. Do you live in a condo, HDB flat, or landed property? This has to do with the electrical connectivity for your home. Homeplugs work well only with single phase power. HDB flats are all on single phase. Some condos and a good number of landed properties use 3-phase power. In this case, homeplugs will work only within the same phase unless you purchase more to bridge the phases.
i live in condo. how to check whether is 1 phase or 3 phase power? what do you mean by work only within the same phase? Can i connect the homeplug to a router in my room?
