Is it the report that Greenpeace or some "green" organization is suing Apple because they claim that the iPhone uses toxic chemicals in production or contains toxic chemicals in some of its components?

well, if things are made to be used, not to be consumed orally, and the materials are not able to penetrate thru ur skin, den what is the problem?

"Green" organizations will always make things sound worse that it really is to create more "noise". It is actually a good way to raise public awareness.

Apple as a company has been the target of alot of these attacks because they have not been as fast as other companies in adopting cleaner and more environmentally friendly processes to create their products. Before the iPhone, the Macbook, Macbook Pro and iMacs were all attacked for being poisonous, environmentally unfriendly etc etc.

Well, Apple isn't too eco-friendly with their products in comparison to other companies... can't remember where I read data on that.

The "problem", for instance, can be easily found by looking at the aftermath of the 9-11 disaster. The main bulk of toxic & hazardous waste from the rubbles are melted computer components.

Those toxic components will somehow, someday & someway, find their way into our orally consumed items, or be breathed in...

Current Watercooling with:

agreed that it posts problems - to the environment, if not disposed properly.
But putting it in the way that iPhone directly poisons users, is not a correct statement.

Do you know chlorine can be found easily in our tap water?

Do you know bromine is used to make semiconductors?

Unless those idiots can prove that iphone users would be overly exposed to such chemicals from everyday use, Apple have nothing to worry about.
