hdd upgrade question...leopard and bootcamp and parellels etegration Jun 1st, 08, 06:53 PM #1 (permalink)
How to migrate everything with one app? tried Superduper but it'll only backup each partition on it's own, anyway to clone in one step the whole hdd over to a new 250Gb? or have to install the new hdd, partition it using the Disk Utility into 2 partition then clone one partition at a time? will the bootloader thing still be there? Timemachine i read, seems wil not backup Parallels's pvs files?

worse case is reinstall everything i guess.

Take the disk out and use Acronis to dump the entire drive. It does support cloning non-Windows partitions but doesn't support extending the partitions like with NTFS.
