Iphone 3GS - Application Froze crashburner Aug 17th, 09, 05:56 PM #1 (permalink)
Hi,

has any 3GS users encountered the same problem as me? My 3GS compass and maps application froze i.e. either application i activate, it will not work. For example, previously my compass will spin and tell me the direction but now, it stays at 0 degree N and does not spin. As for the map, despite tapping on the source button, it just keeps searching and is unable to locate the right location.

I had tried to reset all settings and it still doesn't works.

Called Singtel to ask should I refer to them or Apple and they said they have to check before getting back to me.

What was the last application you've installed? Did you try to restore your iPhone?

Go to comcentre and try to get it replaced. Just say to them the GPS & Compass is faulty.

I recently got my 3G replaced due to unresponsive Home button. The service gal said that as long as there is no physical damage, can replace for free.
