13" MBP Battery innerlight Aug 23rd, 09, 02:06 AM #1 (permalink)
Hi , I'm a Mac noobie. I just got a new MBP (abt 4 days old). I noted that my battery today seems to be stuck at 96% and did not charged completely.

Is this a sign of premature battery failure?

So far i use it at home only and leave it permanent charged by the power adapter. Is this a no-no?

Tks for helping!

It'll only change to 100% when the battery level falls below 95%. This is to prevent repeated charging cycles.
This is a computer generated message, no trees were harmed, a number of electrons were, however inconvenienced. In short, no signature is required.
