HELP!``` le_petite Aug 29th, 09, 10:53 AM #1 (permalink)
Hi all,

I bought applecare protection with my macbook pro but forgot to register it before the warranty expires. Can it still be registered to extend the warranty? Does apple sell the kind of applecare protection for macbooks that are not covered in warranty anymore? Thanks!

As long as the date that you bought your APP is BEFORE the last day of the 1 year warranty, it can be registered. Otherwise, no way.
This is a computer generated message, no trees were harmed, a number of electrons were, however inconvenienced. In short, no signature is required.

Follow the instructions at the registration screen. Need to fax the proof of purchase of APP and Mac over to Apple to process.
