I have a iphone 3g, recently updated to 3.01, but want to try the restore function on the itune, my initial thinking is it will restore to my old 3.0 firware, but it is still 3.01 with all data erase.

I think i also saw a message saying, it is unlocked too.

now have a few questions:

1) what does unlocked means, do i have to bring to singtel to lock it?
but currently i still managed to make calls, sms and internet.

2) The calllist number format now is funny, example if i call pizzahut at 62353535, the format is now (623)535-35 in my call list, i think it is US format, will i be charged oversea call?

3) I am thinking of JB my iphone, hence wanted to restore to 3.0 as i heard problem with JB 3.01. Any suggestion on how to JB, i am totally confused.

the restore function will not downgrade to fw3.0
1) have no idea what you are trying to say
2) your region setting is wrong. nothing to do with oversea charges.
3) no idea about jbing. and i believe no discussion about jb.

1) Okay I think you got all mixed up. Unlocked = You can use your phone
2) Normal one. Leave it, Makes no difference.
3) Confused? Then don't jailbreak. Save time.
