M1 to offer iPhones

SINGAPORE, 13 October 2009 - M1 and Apple have reached an agreement to bring
iPhone to customers in Singapore later this year. M1 looks forward to offering iPhone
and a range of tailored service plans to customers in Singapore.

course

I was a 10 years M1 subscriber before porting to SingTel... Sigh... Oh well.. lol

I hope this would bring out some competition on data plans pricing and more..

Anyways, Starhub jialat liao la... all jumping ship to MIO TV due to Sports & EPL Channels... now only M1 & SingTel carrying iPhone.. GG

I also subscribed to M1 since day 1, I switched to the Singtel bcos of iPhone

Well, I did jailbreak an iphone 2G last year, but the process is way too scary. It is not difficult, but back when I was doing it the failing rate is quite high

No matter what are their plans and their contract terms, I will switch back to M1 for sure!!

It is fortunate, being the unappreciative company they are, they did not managed to lock me for another 2 years for the 3GS.

To show how disgusted I am over their introduction (they failed to registered me 3 times during the preliminary launch stage), the inability to offer consistent plan entitlements for iPhones, queue irregularities during launch and the incorrect status and penalty terms I was subjected to for upgrade, I will move no matter what!!

And Singtel plans have too many hidden T&Cs like per minute billing and ridiculously high cap for data plans, which most Singaporeans probably aren't aware of... Lols..
