How to burn Apple Lossless into Audio CD dinoteddy Oct 21st, 09, 11:32 AM #1 (permalink)
Hi iPod experts here ,

I had a huge collection of Apple Lossless songs ripped using ITunes, and is looking for ways to burn some of them to audio CD for my car cd-player. (old model which do not hv IPod LOD)

Had tried using Nero7, but it does not recognise M4a files. Converting M4a to 320kbs MP3, Nero is able to burn, but I feel that if able to burn the lossless files, the SQ would be much better.

Looking ard and found that iTunes is able to burn the lossless directly to audio CD, but the SQ is no as gd the one using the M4a to MP3 to Audio CD.

Not sure why, but I suspected that the software to burn the disc may be using different sampling rate which results in the different SQ. Just wondering, is there another CD burner that can burn the Lossless directly to audio CD without affecting the SQ?

Shouldn't you be able to burn it within iTunes itself?
