Just got my Magic Mouse babybearbear Nov 3rd, 09, 10:04 PM #1 (permalink)
I just got my Magic Mouse

What Are You Doing Boo Boo?: Magic Mouse Arrives in Singapore!

My experience:
+ multi-touch is responsive and accurate
+ normal usage of mouse is good
+ scrolling is good
+ prev and next page take some getting used to. After a while, it is good.
+ tactile click (at first I thought click is like iPod Touch); also got right-mouse click
- no middle button! (one of the many reasons I love OSX is Expose...I used the middle as Expose which I found very convenient...now got no middle button leh. How?)
- a bit too flat
- a bit heavy (due to the 2 AA batteries I guess)

i went to try at the showroom. Something i noticed is that its not as smooth as those notebook pads.

Very prone to high friction

So, what do you really want to achieve?

my 1st 15 mins of using my new magic mouse.

2 cons:
too heavy and weird way to grip the mouse
a bit weird running the mouse without any mousepad
(wonder if the friction will wear the mouse)

anyone notices this?

I think you can still use it with mousepad if you find it weird.

Tried it yesterday, not smooth at all. the BT made it quite laggy. Need to click the mouse and wait for a couple of seconds in order or MAC to "wake" it up. Not for fussy user i guess .
