My Macbook is lagging real bad and I want to reformat it, do you guys know how to do it? I have the CD but I put in the macbook and it doesnt launch anything that helps to format @_@

With ur disc in, restart and hold C if not wrong

Press and hold option/alt as soon as you hear the startup sound, then boot into the DVD and follow the installation guide to format your hard disk for a fresh install.

Hold on to the c button while it boots. Make sure cd is inside.
