Hey, anyone interested in getting a portable HDD at Comex? I am getting one... it is possible that we can get a lower price if there are many buyers Those that are interested to buy portable / external HDD please list down the brand and size u are interested in!

Below are the few 500gb (2.5") HDD going for less than $150

1. Prestigo Externo 5400rpm, 16mb , .$149
2. FreeAgent GO .$149
3. Imation Venus .$139
4. Imation Apollo UX .$149
4. Samsung S2 Portable $139
5. WD Passport .$119!

Personally i am going for WD or Samsung!.. Who wans to mass hoot lol =D

pc show prices for 2.5 WD 500gb is at $139... hope to get one 500gb hdd at around 100-120.

think seagate not bad.. 500GB for $149, with a free pouch and 5 year warranty... lots of others only give 3 years warranty...

ska8er_23, got better offer if we pool to buy together?

hmm yup seagate looks good coming in second is samsung.. design is quite good with 3 years warranty..

3.5 inch is just 1 inch thicker den 2,5 inch.. most external portable HDD wont nid additional power cord.. if not it wont be called portable =)

lol, thicker? you gotta be kidding. the numbers 1.0, 1.8, 2.5 and 3.5 refers to the platter size, not the thickness!

i would faint if my ipod classic 1.8" hard drive makes my ipod 1.8 inches thick!
