Is it possible to do part time insurance?

Feel like doing it coz got ample of free time now as i am in the Army. May i know what are the requirements? And also i need to take some test to qualify being an insurance agent rite? May i know how much is the course fee?

Yes. You need to take some course and pass some exams.

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but, a insurance agent tells me that at last count, there are 20,000 agents in Singapore. If there are 4 million people in Singapore, that would mean 1 agent can have access to around 190 potential customers.

Those statistics are probably the reason why I had 4 different insurance agents calling me for the last 6 years.

i do agree with bolts abt the no. of agents singapore has. Alot of my friends who graduated ended up having to work as an insurance agent due to limited job opportunities. Pretty ironic that the insurance field became the dumping ground.

I am more concerned about this question. "WHY SHD ONE BUY AN INSURANCE?"
