Seem like most people are now buying big caps to super big caps and are offloading the small caps. So is it a good time to pick up some small caps next week?

how small is small? Right now, there is two types of play going on. Punters chasing small caps and blue chips moving due to good economic news. Either way, there are money to be made, but different amount of risk.

I still think most of the penny stocks are overvalued now, even with the recent corrections. Not a good time to pick up. See the Sesdaq index to judge how far penny stocks had run up this year.
The only stocks I picked up last week are:
SIA (10.500 - 10.600) 2 lots
Singpost (0.675 - 0.680) 80 lots
Unifood (0.575 - 0.580) 40 lots
Currently, my SG holdings:
CapitalMall - 40 lots (my mid term investment)
Allied Tech - 80 lots (my mid term investment)
SIA - 5 lots (my mid term investment)
Singpost - 330 lots (my mid term investment)
Unifood - 40 lots (my punting money is allocated here)
I have since liquidated Hongguo, Devotion and other my other IPO punting stocks.

Which brings us to the topic on 4Q, FY03. Think the current run-up will continue until XMas and STI to hit 1,800.
I feel pennies are overvalued at the moment. I see Goldtron/Ipco in top vol means the fools are in the market now. :)
I am looking to sell off SIA this week. 11 plus bucks is a good price to cash in.

Reason the price drops last Friday was because an investment firm liquidated half its Singpost holdings at 0.71+. (See SGX announcement as I cannot remember the firm offhand.) Good for me, then, as I am able to buy more at a good price.
My time frame is longer than those investment houses. I don't go for one night stands. I also like this company for its ease to find new revenue streams. (e.g. recent tie up with AirAsia).
Personally, I know their operations very well. I can't devulge more, as I'm strictly still under a OSA.
A monopoly blue chip that's below S$1. That's pretty rare. A first-class one for that price, that's even rarer.
And to think people are willing to buy 4th place loss-making Chartered at S$1.5+ rather than 1st place Singpost...;);)

Oops. Missed out my longest holding stock - SGX - 20 lots. I bought these at S$1.20 soon after their initial IPO in 2001, only to see the price languishing below S$1 for the past 2 years. :p
I'm just happy my faith in this lady is not misplaced. :)

So did Glenn Knight and lots of others. One survived and did very well. Most don't.
Still, OSA is not something we want to mess around with. Especially when it's more profitable for me to play within the rules.
All the best in your investments. :)

Insider trading is illegal. But, it's really hard to police.
So, lots of people get away with it. Those who don't are usually the high-profile people, who really shouldn't be doing insider trading because they are under observation all the time by the media.

I switched play to pennies this month. Wait and see. Yah. A big risk. Pennies are abit over valued at the moment. I think there is still abit more head room on the way up to Xmas. Will unload around that time. Earn some money for a little XMas shopping. :)
