The new 4B11 engine, also used in the new Dodge Caliber, is a 2.0 liter DOHC 16 valve engine with MIVEC variable valve timing, making 152hp, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is also an optional CVT transmission with a 6-speed virtual gear mode called Sportronic(R). Cogs can be swapped via magnesium paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

I think the Mitsubishi engineers need to take a break and come to Sg for R&R...

No originality in design, probably pressured by Sales & Marketing to make a more Eurocentric design, and get themselves confused with whether they should sell a Japan marque or a Euro Type R version.

Maybe let SG designers and engineers design the car from now on... and SMU students to market it as their final year project... sure sell one! ha ha ha!

hey.. my dad had that Mivec MR too, but the rear is different.

My favourite car.. those were the times when the racer boys were driving Lancer MR and Civic SiR. 1.6L wonders.. now can't find liao.. :(
