feel that 1st thing to do is to change the steel alloy wheels to some sport rims once u get your car....

Just a couple of points to note. Increase your rim size in general will affect fuel consumption. Changing to aftermarket suspensions will give you a harder ride. Such kits cost ard 1k. If u intend to change just the springs, do take note that the absorbers will be damaged in due time and u will have to change it.
Most pple go for rims and some cosmetic changes. btw, what car u got? maybe u can join its forum.

there are many many things you can do from plain asthetics to engine, intake, exhaust mods... BUT, will it void the warranty (if it's a brand/newish new car)? Do you even care about the warranty?

woah almost the same mods I did on my Forester so far.cold air intake,ECU,STi shocks,WRX brakes,supersprint exo,5 speed manual tranny with DCCD,racing spark plugs and cables.So like he said,big turbooo!!!

it's up to user preference.
it's just like telling someone, who wants to get a X6800, not to get one, and telling him that a a64 venice core or a X2 3600+ is just enough for his needs.
