Hi. Gathering some opinions from car owners... What do you use to top up your wiper washer reservoir tank? A pre-mixed fluid bought off the shelf or you mix your own solution? What's an effective fluid?

Using rainx causes my wiper to judder, thus quit using it. For me just use some glass cleaning solution (those blue color type). About 2 capful diluted with water.

Yeah I've been hearing mixed reviews about using rainx on windscreen. I use it on the wing mirrors and side windows but have not tried on the windscreens for fear of causing the stuttering effect. meow meow you use rainx in the washer fluid no problem ah?

ahhhhh... nononononono... rain-x wil discolour the rubber linings... do NOT use in the reservoir!!!!! if wanna use, apply directly on windscreen, leave a border of 2 or more inches all round. My dad's old car was affected by the rain-x, the rubber lining around the windscreen looked like it was mouldy!

as for what to put in the reservoir, just use a bit of glass cleaner and tap water... good enuf

heh... try try... then you'll know ;)

as long as it doesn't streak (leaves streaks on the glass surface), and cause unnecessary glare (sometimes the residue left on the glass enhances glare), it should be fine.
