ah finally yesterday evening, i went to Aburiya for dinner with my family n grandpa. this rest. serves hot stone grills, sort of a korean mix jap style kinda place.. eh the food is something like this http://wire-d.net/log/photos/shots/bbq1.png

anyway we ordered the regular stuff like cow's tongue, beef cubes, beef fillets, pork belly, vegetable plate, rice in hot bowl, egg soup and kimichi and their friday special, muttom with their aburiya sauce.

well as i mentioned eariler, we ordered the regulars so needless to say about the quailty. but i wad i want to mention is the mutton speacial.

the mutton speacial was good i must say, the sauce that marinates the mutton boosted the meat quailty and the size of the meat was just nice for a mouth full filling bite and of course my good grilling also made the mutton tasted better. :P

overall, the taste i mus say is one of the better ones around. the meat quailty and quanity are also one of the better ones around. they have korean style chill sauce which spices up the taste of the grill meat..

someting bad >> <<<the few times i went it always taste good or at least maintain a rather high level of standard. but to my horror n displease, last night service was in fact terrible n the pork wasnt fresh and had a bad aftertaste after cooking. i dont know wads wrong but to me it seems that their standard has dropped since the last time i went. >>>

ah almost forgot to mention.. their pircing...
be prepared to spend, as last night dinner cost me about $400.

and 1 more thing, if u dun really like the idea of grilling your food or eating meat, well this place isnt really to ur likings buit of course theres a nice rest beside it that speacialist in wines n cheese n alot more goodies..

but for those that likes to eat n doesnt really care bout wad i said, pls go for it as trying is believing.. maybe their standard have alreadi gone back to their glory state tt i always tasted. .. if not well at least their beer is enough to clear any misunderstandings..

Sorry to offtrack but tamade is good, but is it opening or closing. Heard it was either closing or shifting a few months ago. It used to be The Quay Side, now it must have moved to Robertson Quay then.

Only $12-15 for most of their main courses although portions are not big but food is quite nice, environment is very classy. Their puddings are their stars, esp the choc pudding, cut into it and the chocolate sticky stuff flows out..except now I can make that hahaha.

There was one more pudding with coconut or gula melaka, also excellent.

Can confirm if it's at Robertson Quay now, Dean?

Still remember they use this big peanut as the chopstick rest, my friends and I just eat up the peanuts! hehe

It's pronounced Jap style btw, Ta- Ma - Day
