Firemen extricating the body of Lim Kim Hwa from the Toyota Vios yesterday.

SEREMBAN: The victim of a car accident in Seremban2 yesterday afternoon was robbed as he lay dying, pinned in the car.

Chong Seng Satt, 23, lost control of his car on a rough patch of road outside the Tesco Extra hypermarket about 1pm. The car spun several times before hitting a tree on the roadside, said a police spokesman.

His passenger Lim Kim Hwa, 26, died from head injuries as rescue workers tried to free him.

Chong was taken to Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

There was initial confusion over Lim's identity because his wallet had been stolen, probably by someone pretending to help the two men.

According to Lim's father, who declined to be identified, besides his wallet, a gold necklace he wore is also missing.

"Fortunately, a friend of my son's found out about the accident and informed us.

"If not, it would have taken the police some time to identify him," said the father.

In another accident in Bandar Baru Nilai at 2.30am, a motorcyclist was killed when he lost control of his bike and swerved off the road.

Twenty-year-old Saprin Yonas, from Sabah, had been working at a factory in Nilai since last year.

A police spokesman said Saprin's body was claimed at the hospital by his family after a post-mortem.

Actually at this point, i hope Malaysia will end up crumbling into Anarchy, seeing that the government hasn't really done much to its abyssmal domestic issues.

It makes no difference to curse these scoundrels as long as there's no form of authority to control them anyway ;3

I'm sure the Malaysian government could have just snapped its fingers and all will be fixed, but they chose not to. How horrible of them!

I don't know where you were at that time but it most certainly did happen. And it is more likely a legacy of Mahathir's leadership than fault of pak lahs...

not seeing doesn't mean no crime. The increase in crime in johore is due to a number of reasons but the real failure is due to the provincial government.

tat aside, :) we have also be wayled by a few individuals that find it fun to promote our neigbour's crime in this forum. I mean if I was to publish every single rape case in singapore, u would thinking singaporeans are pro-rapist.

if u want a free press, you must be able to self-filter information. Political left one side, political right one side, crime one side, environment one side, stocks one side, cartoons one side... etc.

Don't simply just read the "fun stuff" and base your opinions on em.

U end up bias.

Lol, and I betcha during Mahathir's time your same friends were cursing? Like dillion said, just because nobody dares to make any news doesn't mean that there is no news. I'd reckon more than enough things happen in Singapore that doesn't make the news. Mahathir started the affirmative bumiputra policy; under him, corruption soared (he himself wasn't clean), the civil service was inefficient and incumbent, Malays generally lacked the ability to stand up for themselves, nobody dared make any news etc etc.

Abdullah is merely trying to undo what Mahathir has done. The sharp increase in crime you precieved is partly because: there IS more crime, more crime is being reported, you read this forum, you started reading news about malaysia etc etc...

The real reason for the increase in crime is the incumbent, corrupt and inept police force. Now, if a police force is effective, has a strong culture it takes more than a few years to cripple it. If a police force was shit for 20 years under a previous leadership, it takes ALOT more than a few years to correct that...

Now I admit the majority of the Malaysian leaders are still idiots, but I reckon we are in alot better position now for growth than we were 5-7 years ago...

let me get this right
this is what im taking abot as in mahadir is able to contain the problem in the sense even the news don't dare to be surface to the public
take a look like suharto when his running the country the rupiah is much stronger corruption
if u ask all the Indonesian they will mostly say the same if it possible to rewind time n put suharto back in power
yes agree but he is able to contain the problem control the news n the people that is more important the power in u
sadam another good example the style of ruling only he can control the shia n suni wat he did maybe wrong but thats the way of doing it to get it rite
this is what i mean
even the American r doing it we Singapore government r doing it the same way as all this people r doing
we have no say the government says everything for us they put the words in our mouth we just nod the head even though it's not rite

Yeah, I'm sure that's a good thing ;) Abdullah is useless. He indirectly controls all the news papers yet he doesn't have the guts to tell them all to stfu...

proxy wants to say that being a noti boy is sometimes a good thing for the general population.

Badawi is still quite green and its extremely difficult to move around much when there are still a mill and one of the old guard still in office.

What is that corruption supposed to mean?

yes agree but he is able to contain the problem control the news n the people that is more important the power in u
Yes agree with what? more important than what? What's the power in you and what does it have to do with this sentence?

even the American r doing it we Singapore government r doing it the same way as all this people r doing
Doing what?

I'm sure your english is perfect, with no grammatical errors whatsoever. A primary school student will get a A with a star from his teacher for that...

Nope, still didn't understand that. The most basic denominator for debate is a language medium that both can understand. Sadly I can't. If you want to write in Chinese (if that is your mother tongue) that's fine by me...
