u should really be comparing DC5 with STI, both are track cars with improve works, wrx is just a base turbo car until u throw the mods in, anyway turbo vs NA , the war never ends, for me its definately turbo cars FTW although i dun like rexes but the downside is u have to deal with more mechanical problems as there are more parts to play with and cooling is the ultimate problem. FC would be better on a NA thou with the ever increasing fuel prices, its ur own personal preference. oh and not to mention AWD vs FWD, both are different kind of rides

TS, what you have just put into case is quite a hard case to compare. Being two very different cars of different aspirations, already there is a very obvious difference in the power of the engine, let alone the drivetrain.
The Honda Integra vs Subaru WRX is not as commonly compared due to the fact that they are of different class to each other. Where as the biggest rival of the WRX has always been the EVO, the Integra has never really been regarded as a car within that ranks.
Already the NA setup means an underpowered comparison to the WRX. Next is the launch which obviously goes to the WRX for its 4WD system which offers more grip than the FWD Integra.
I really dont want to go and list out every single advantages and disadvantages of both cars but from the question asked, it gives a very vague request of answers.
Performance of what?
Drags? WRX
Circut? Undecided
Drift? Forget about both
The car with the most potential is obviously the WRX. With its EJ25 engine being already turbocharged nature, it is very easily to yield out more power where as the K engine from Honda is already pretty much up there...

The STi version is effectively the same engine with different ECU and a few other bits and pieces.

get the rex and dump in 30k of aftermarket parts to make a monster, but bear in mind the head and the gearbox of the rex is much much weaker then the sti, i already know of 2 of my frenz breaking their gearboxes, and i only got 3 frenz driving rex lol

Subies are well known for their weak boxes....my advice to you is to get a better clutch...

When modding cars, it always the entire system. The stock clutch and gearbox can only take so much. Don't forget about them too.
For the street racer. get the STI. Then dump in money on the parts.
HOWEVER, i still feel for street races, weight is key. The lighter the car, the faster you can go. Get the Lotus Elise 111R and put in an SC. You'll win street races anytime ( except against another fellow supercar ) and have chicks flocking to you... :P
Kill 2 birds with one stone.. :P

Is that the Lotus with the Celica engine?

Is that the Lotus with the Celica engine?
Haha
Depending on which engine it is using, both can be used by the Celica.
The Lotus Elise uses the following engines
1.8 L Rover K-Series
1.8 L Toyota 1ZZ
1.8 L Toyota 2ZZ-GE
However its true beauty is its weight. The first gen Lotus is only 720kg!! Even with an engine that produces only a paltry "100+bhp", it can run rings around other cars with engines producing higher HP. Compare that to the Celica GT4, which weighs twice the weight of the Elise at 1465 kg...
