Was at Esplanade today for dinner at Via Mar. The Mosaic festival is on - music performances, seems very jazz-centric which is fine with me.

There was a lone guy wearing a Mosaic tee playing an alto or tenor sax, just walking around and I really liked that.

After dinner, caught a few mins of the Thomson Swing band playing live, good stuff. They're on tomorrow evening again, 2 performances 7is and 9ish so you guys should go check it out, live and free. Think the live free performances go on for a few weeks, details here:

Tapas are 8-10

Paella's are cheap at $29, supposed to be for 3-4 people. I had the Arroz Negro though (black squid ink rice) but it wasn't very good. Have not tried the others. The lady recommended another type when I asked what was popular.

Other main courses are about $2x for one person.

Alcoholic drinks are about $12, the sangria was okay. They do a chocolate souffle thing which is more like a molten choc pudding (you cut in and inside is liquid), a friend tried but I didn't, looked good.
