For those who don't know about Albert Yeung and his involvement with Edi's scandal, go google and look at his background. No wonder HK stars get better international image than most of other Asians counterparts.
No matter how much we wanna kid our kids in school, a really successful industry/job is all about connections/power/money. Singapore e-industry can never make it big internationally because it is all too goody-goody. Our celebs don't experience such 'dark' stuff these HK stars are exposed to, maybe yes but surely to only a small extent given our 'academic -driven' culture. Realism is E-industry thrive on sensationalisms/scandals/triad connection( You surely wouldn't want to know too much about Hollywood's triad connec). Singapore still has a long way to go in this industry.
