Good Luck, Have Fun.

MOP4 all the way! Route march in it, play basketball in it, run in it and most importantly.... ROAST IN IT!

Gas Chamber is ok... Just go in, take off mask, inhale some tear gas, cough a little and come out... After a while, it's no kick..

Now the CBRD units aren't classified liao.. Since my time onwards, 2003....
anyway, there isn't really much to fear about the MOPP suit. Talking from experience, once you get conditioned, it'll be 2nd nature.

IIRC, 39 doesn't do jogging in MOPP4.. @ least that's what I last learnt, not sure if they have changed their training program yet.

When I was in Seletar, always see 39 guys in Mopp4 running/ marching every time I book out.. Maybe my course mates trying to be funny and make their trainees sweat it out on a hot saturday afternoon before book-out.

yes i've been through the CD chamber before.. but that's nothing compared to CBRD training...

u gotta remain in the suit (minimum MOPP2) for 8 hours and above, and still be able to carry out ur usual operations, no matter rain or shine.. not just smelling some tear gas.
