Of course walk up staircase can lose weight, but depend on what you are talking about here, like how long is the staircase and how often do you climb the stairs. If it is just 1 storey high and you do it once per day, then odds are you may not lose any significant amounts of weight. If you deliberately go and climb staircase just to lose weight, ie really sweat it out climbing (maybe running up) a few times, then you can lose weight.

btw, it would be easier to run straight than run up staircase.

Pes BP is for those who are unfit for PTP phase IIRC. Their training helps the enlistees to lose weight by doing aerobics and gym most of the time. Yes, I've friends who went in and became gold medalist in IPPT :D

Prepare before going to BMT. If you can do chin up, push up and running, I guess you will do just fine. People who kena 'tekan' normally do badly in these 3 items.

Want to be best recruit? Fitness is important.

Learn how to pack your back pack densely, transfer weight between your shoulder and waist.

You are good to go, soldier!;)

It depends whether ur mild obese, slightly more obese(same weeks as mild obese) or extremely obese.

Mild and Slightly more than mild is 15 weeks BMT

Extreme obese is 26 weeks.

I came from slightly mild. Silm down ard 10kg but got a lot fitter. :)
