whats the most ideal Lower control arm length on a MacPherson Strut?

need to do a 1/20 scale lower control arm.

need to do a 1/20 scale lower control arm.
Depends on the car and the wheel offset of the car, but generally, if it is only for a model, try keep it simple for yourself and make it into an all equal triangle.

Usually the higher the offset, the more length there is to the lower control arm.

woah....issnt that a bit extreme?

equal triangle 60 degree(measure from the lower control arm to the suspension.)

from google i think/feel that the angle are ard 85~75?

Hey, look mate, just use whatever suits you the most.

As I said, this will depend from car to car so there isnt really a set standard.

I purely said to use 60 degree to make life easier when it comes to the making of the model.

Its still workable at 60 degrees but are you going to put wheels on?

its a RC model. scratch building it. so want it to be as real as its counterparts.
