after watching seed.. makes me realised gundam has lost their touch... imo one the best still gundam W

haha, gundam W is pure skill without special abilities unlike the rest of the gundam series, iirc

Seed itself is actually a modification of the first generation stories, namely first gundam and zeta gundam, to suit the newer audience or at least attract them. But it's successful enough to warrant a actual sequel, if less successful due to insane amount of repeats of Seed scenes, low charactor development for the new comers, blah blah. However Seed Destiny does actually borrow a scenario like what US is with the middle east. :D ahem.

On the otherhand, i don't really think the alternate universes like Gundam Wing and Gundam X ( which the anime gets cut down to 39 episodes ) can really match the uniqueness if not the lameness of the Mobile Fighter G Gundam. It's like putting a super robo element into a real robo based story. But it has a really nice pace of story line among with the many crappiness.

So let's all say together, "Gundam Fighto ! READDDYYY... GOOOO!!!"

Destiny seems to throw more focus on the old charactors and more Seed repeats than ever. Kira seems to enjoy being in explosions. Strike in Seed episode 30 substaining a explosion from a self-destructing Aegis, Nearly being fried by the Genesis weapon in episode 50. And now although his cockpit in freedom is safe from the impulse's beam sword, his mobile suit blew up again via nuke en grande style ( which in that note, unlike most mobile suit's cockpit being placed in the mid torso, Freedom's cockpit is on the upper torso / chest )
