Hi all,

I have booked my US trip today and have some questions on mind, hope to receive some help here:

1. Intend to extend another night but those additional fees involve are quite high so to speak. Does anyone know how much does it cost for airport transfer from San Francisco?

2. I have change SGD1K into 725USD but was wondering is it sufficient to use for this trip? Although major stores and restaurant does have credit card acceptance but I am not sure how much is their living standard over there? Any idea how much does it cost for their fast food, hot dogs, food stuffs & drinks in supermarket? I need to gauge as in how much money should I change further for USD..

Appreciate for all input. Thanks.

Costs for fast food etc are about the same as over here, cept in USD. Sometimes even cheaper... It all depends on how much you intend to spend on shopping etc.

How did you book your hotel? If you simply ask the hotel to extend 1 more night, its going to be expensive, but that is the only way you can avoid moving rooms or hotels. You can try online booking for cheap hotels, but I'm not sure if they work for non-US credit cards.
priceline (http://www.priceline.com)
expedia (http://www.expedia.com)
hotel.com (http://www.hotel.com)
are just a few sites you can book hotels online at cheaper than the standard rates, but most likely you would have to change rooms or hotels.

As mention above, there is sales tax for everything that you buy and that the prices shown do not include the sales tax. Depending on what kind of budget you are on and how many people are there, you can buy some food cheaply. I have Macs here having $1 menu. Anyway, most shops accept credit card, even macs and kfc and there is often no or a low minimum charge.
