no training on thursday night is so untrue, they even conduct 24km on it...But the satnd by organ story is credible cause my OC told to us before saying he knew one of the officers involve...

I dont know which one you heard, but i believe the common one is the recruit found dead during route march, with his organs layed infront of him in a stand-by-organs arrangement.

Subsequent days, his buddy is disturbed by the dead spirit during his sleep and kept falling from the top of his double-deck bed.

Fast forward. They sent spirit-talker to chase the spirit and made the third door in that bunk for an exit point (i do not really understand why they do this but it doesnt matters).

Well, the story was true but the stand by organs were not. Stories tends to get exaggerated.

Theres a documentary show about it before on Tv (i think "strange tales").

Anyway, its was heat exhaustion as the 24km route marches were previously done in the hot morning/afternoon sun.

So now its done in the evening/night instead.

And theres no more a third door in Charlie Company. It has been turned into a gym or lecture theatre, or maybe even totally cemented.

Thursday night training has already resumed long aho....

The charlie company is the old BMTC, not the new one...

Ok, all the above are based on info 2 years back (i already ord-ed) =)

Thursday night training depends on your coy. But they do train even on thursday nights. One coy just went for outfield on thursday.

Thursday night is the time the Malays believe that spiritual activity is at its peak, somewhat like what the Chinese believe the 7th month to be. Since there used to be a Malay village on tekong before it become a military island, there is lots of speculation about thursday nights.

Not that sure about the stand-by-organs though.

you can see the "third door" when you do route marches and pass by the old BMTC.

Don't worry mate. Don't scare yourself. There are more people on Tekong as compared to last time. So it shouldn't cause too much alarms.

Anyway do try not to makan pork products if you can esp in the bunk. ;)

The stuff u should be afraid of is whether yr mate is caught by chatting on phone after light-off and the whole bunk was been 'turn-out' by the sgt/officer. Well i guess now bmtc doesn't do this anymore and mainly happen only in unit.

need not worry too much though... all these spooky tales and encounters probably happened eons ago and spiritual healers and figures have sort of 'certified' that the recently built BMTC school 1 and 2 complexes are free from spirits and whatsoever supernatural objects...

thus highly unlikely that anything will disturb you during ur regular lights-out in your bunk... however things are different when you go outfield/route march, when you stay for extended periods of time away from the main bmtc complex... It is widely believed that field camp sites such as rocky hill and school 3 remain haunted till this date and that's where many mordern spooks and tales originate from....
