no is not clarinet. clarinet is a single reed instrument.

bassoon belongs to the double reed family.

not really low sounds though. the range very versatile... 3 1/2 octaves leh! from low notes to sexy and mellow tenor voices... lol.

single reed = quite cheap $3 to $5 for one standard reed

double reed = bloody expensive $25 standard price. some tutors charge up to $35. lol.

haha am i late? hmmm me play electric guit as main...mostly rhythm...then lead...followed by acoustic guit...then drums and bass too!

have a Ibanez Rg and Marshall Mg for electric
plus a martin and co for acoustic!

bassoon belongs to woodwind family in orchestral
it belongs to one of the lowest member in that family
it use 2 reeds ,it is one 8th lower and it read on bass clef or tenor clef
of cuz it is non tranposing instrument
