i propose to have a monthly guide to introduce new (good) music albums worth 'buying' or movies worth watching.

i think this is a great idea...but the term 'good' is quite subjective...need to deal with that..

yeah have official movie threads where everyone can input opinions, worth 9.50 or less :laugh5:

the music part a bit complicated.... so many genres... will be a little tricky

it's great

but for the movies part, that would mean the writer will probably have to watch the movie before it officially opens in singapore, so that it fits into this monthly guide..

otherwise the present movie threads are doing fine :)

Maybe instead of a personal review, we can have a monthly sticky listing some of the movies in theatres or movies opening. Link to their official websites. Write a short blurb. Link to reviews on rottentomatoes.com etc.

Save the personal reviews and comments for the individual threads like now but this monthly guide can be a quick snapshot of what's showing and what it's about.
