Samurai X and Rurouni Kenshin got difference meh?

As above...i see some ppl refer to them as 2 diff things...can someone pls clear my doubts...?
I didnt watched either of them at all...but i watched a bit on the episodes abt kenshin and tomoe...during the old era...forgot the name liao...it looks cool...where can i buy it ?

I can't remember clearly now, but I saw the two so-called Samurai X/Kenshin movies (I don't know if got more than two).....one chronicles his life as a young assassin and what led to his turnabout. The other is when Kenshin's married to Kaori....quite vague memory of them as I'd seen them a while back. :rolleyes1

technically, they are the same... but to some anime fans, Samurai X is a butchered version of Rurouni Kenshin, with the names being changed,Kenshin to Kenshee.. Kaoru to Cori.... some of the original japanese script being altered... that's why we prefer to refer to the anime series as Rurouni Kenshin

Are those episodes that chronicles his life as a young assassin very short ? I cant seem to find them anywhere...i keep seeing meiji era where he meets kaoru...and he dun kill anymore...wanna find his legendary days... :rolleyes:

unfortunately , yes. the episodes showing kenshin as battousai the killer form a 4-ep OVA. other than those 4 eps, i don't recall seeing any other eps with young battousai in it. :(

OVA stands for ? Hmm...so that means i have already finished watching the days when he was a young battousai...that one is great...unlike the meiji era one...when kenshin keep "oro-ing"... :laugh5: ...i dun see him joking in the past...got cool factor

OVA= Original Video Animation, sort of like a side story from the original series...
