Last minute bookings: http://www.wotif.com

Hotel reviews and bookings: http://www.asiahotels.com
Bookings: http://www.precisionreservations.com

For airfares, don't like airfares.com.sg, their prices are always not updated. They always put "available till [date]" and the date is past.

http://www.zuji.com.sg - Good to see what flight promos are on.

http://www.ntogo.com - For those promos with a min no of people to fly together, they help match you up in case you don't have an enough sized group or you are flying solo.

Another thing is, if you know which airline is having the promo or low fares from looking at these sites, you can call them direct to book also.

Thanks for the asiarooms tip, I will be trying it out. I find it's useful to compare a few sites coz some of them have slightly different room options or if one is sold out, the other might have availability. Precisionreservations is cheaper than asiahotels also but when they were sold out for my HK trip for a hotel I wanted, I got it from asiahotels. Asiahotels seems to have more reviews as they have been around longer.

Got one hotel site to share. Include maps (not very detailed) for the hotels too.

www.wired-destinations.com (http://www.wired-destinations.com)

Contains quite a comprehensive range of hotels worldwide.

asiarooms has a lot of bad reviews on travel forums. This Sam_drifter who recommended them has only posted 2 posts so far, both promoting asiarooms, it's a bit dubious so I'm going to can both posts.

I recommend atsiam.com and sawadee.com for thailand.

latestays.com is also good, as well as wotif.com.

yea..I second wotif.com too! Got quite good last minute rooms for Perth last year. Good thing is that it's immediate, yours the moment you book and pay up; unlike some which only get back to you the next day - quite a hassle when you need something last minute..

I've been using asiarooms and asiahotels with no probs. Asiarooms will typically take longer to get back but their rates are generally better.

Another tip: If you are purely buying SIA tickets, their website www.singaporeair.com.sg will give the lowest price. 3rd party sites and travel agents will charge a service fee on top of what is offered there.
