Ahhhh, Perth, the favourite destination among us. It is just a short 3-hour flight away and its spring and summer temperatures are most agreeable with those of us who are used to the Singapore climate.
Although it is a more sleepy-town than, say, Sydney or Melbourne, it has its own charms, particularly its unforgettable Swan River and its sister city of Freemantle.
A word of warning though. Despite the plentiful sunshine, you could still feel the chill in the middle of the day. Needless to say, you have to dress-up during the night.
Well, what better way to describe Perth than some close-up pictures....

yes, that is the Bell Tower, but i dont know where is the bell. :hat1:
yeah, i went to Freemantle also, to eat fish and chips and see an old fort. also went around shopping, etc. will post some pics of the Swan River Cruise from Freemantle to Perth.

wah looking at those pics reminds me of my perth trip.. man tt was shiok.. everything slower pace.... so peaceful but sometimes a bit too boring :P
the desert trip was fun... esp when we reach the beach area... peeing along the beach.. :laugh3: keke den the wave wash everything away...

they are denoted by colors. red, blue etc..

ohh there is some event call sunset cinema. it normally open during dec-mar.
pretty interesting to sit out in the open to enjoy a nice cold beer and watch live band preform.

perth also the best place to get a good price to get car rental.
look for baywater car rental, a one year old car, $15-$19 A dollars
per day....i just love to drive there......O beware of the speed camera..

sentosa got nothing to see wan
rottnest island got wonderful views and you can cycle around the whole island, meet quokkas, swim in the sea, suntan on the fine sand

When visiting perth, should go south, Margaret river, nice place, with lots wine yard....Albany too. To north, Kalbarri is nice too, rent a toyota and enjoy the drive :)

Yes, Esperance, 725km south-east of Perth, is a place of rugged beauty and stunning beaches. Really a relaxing place...

there are so mani things to play there.
the funniest event there was the piggy race... so funnie.
ohh, there is also goodie bags that u can buy. there are lots of different design. wonder who can get me 2 goodie bag pls...

Yes, yearly great event, :) the Royal Show atmosphere is really dynamic and the range of activities almost endless. If u happen to visit it, u will not forget the experience....
