I spend the whole weekend at home watching this animation. And I must say it is pretty well done.

It is about a boy's path into Rock n' Roll. not a punk boy but a regular person who just happen to have a voice and determination in music.

It shows the side of music that is well hidden to the general public. Some of you might be bored with the slow pace of this show, but to those who know the music scene "enough" will know exactly what they are doing. The graphics are very well done.. more new age. The music ... I believe is the most taxing part of this anime production. Using simple riffs and basic sounds gave the anime's music THAT special touch of indie rock.....

I pretty much like the like the fact that the Japs and English songs and with a tint of Jap accent... very nice...The last 2 eps are the super highlights....it is just ... the BOY... his Guitar... and his voice.....

followed by the band....

If you have the time to spend give it a go...but if you are not REALLY into music it might be a total bore...

it isn't anything like that. i also find it quite nice. a simple student who fell in love with rock music.

i was also skeptical at first but fell in love with the anime when i heard the song "Moon on the Water". Might not suit everyone's taste but definitely suited mine. :D

Actually..the songs were rather nice..but the concept was a little lame IMHO..

You should see the DVD set..the covers are really really nice..

Beck left me with a very good impression... and the song (think it was moon over waters) left an even greater impression. Though the concept was pretty simple, i guess the songs were what made the impact. Was especially touching towards the end, on the big stage.

One by one the band members made their entrance. Pretty intensifying, i thought.

Anyone know whether any taiwan comic company is licencing this comic? Looking for it leh ... after reading online, want to keep a set at home. Just saw the new jap issue 23 @ kino last week.
