Just came back from my japan holiday with my family. thought i post up some pictures for general viewing.

These are pictures of the Tsukiji Fish Market where thousands of tonnes of fish or moved everyday

i thot they have banned tourists from this market? the fishmongers complained that tourist obstruct their business and may even be exposed to danger from careless fishmongers swinging fish hooks.

there was actually an area cordoned off for the tourists to take photos. i don't think the tourists are banned from the area. but having to wake up at 5am to go to the market is a very large deterrent already. no need to ban :rolleyes1 :laugh5: :hat1:

those seafood is as fresh as u could get. i suspect they use dry ice to freeze the catch before the boat comes back to port. :)

Haha thanks for the nice comments. Regarding my sister, she can be an angel at times but sometimes you think she is the devil incarnate. the way children pull at your heart strings is just amazing. you can ask yao yao too!!
