Spent the whole weekend chionging this series. Well, compared to the previous gundam i watched, Wing, this series seems much more easier to understand. It's about 2 groups of humans, the Naturals and the Coordinators, waging an all out war against each other, due to genetical differences between both groups, and about how the main character Kira Yamato fought to protect his friends and tried to end the war.
Well, that's roughly what i can think about typing out about the story ah.. kinda complicated to type out completely. Anyway, the music for this series is excellent, just like Wing. The very 1st OP already caught my attention, with TM Revolution singing it.
Since it's only 50 eps, i suggest those who like action packed anime to watch it, the fighting scenes between the mobile suits are really good. however, there's just one thing i find wrong about the series, the gundams seem so invincible, although not like those in Wing that kind of invincible, but it seems so one-sided whenever the gundams appear.

Try the First Gundam , only one mobile suit outlasted the whole series ever.
Basically it is a revision of the first generation gundams but with familiar elements being used, tweaked a bit to be slightly different. However most of the designs are actually borrowed from the first generation series.
By the way, yes, the Meteor seems to be in the latest Alpha 3.

Actually I think Gundam Seed uses adaptations from many Gundam Series...I seem to be looking at Zakus and a Dendrobium-lookalike among other similarities :D

Wooo...there's some GS fans here....hehehe....the series juz rox la...
Its more on character story than mech. But the gundams are still well-designed in anyway. The plot are parts and pieces of many earlier gundam generations.
lol...let me share with u guys some of my craze over GS (money wasting).

well, yeah...unless u really have passion in modelling...otherwise its quite troublesome & expensive...
my fren has already spent close to $2K just for the tools alone...but he's quite hardcore, done quite a few MG & PG kits for competitions...
i've been thinking of getting PG Strike & PG Sky Grasper + Aile Striker, but i guess it would be quite wasted if i dun paint them...so still considering... :hat1:

Finally completed my Perfect Grade 1/60 Strike! Will update this thread later with pics.
phew.... tired ah.. technically took about 4 days to complete it... but in reality I took 7 months. Got the PG since last christmas.. Only did the left leg then stopped cos too shocked by the number of parts needed... Decided to complete it after I completed watching SEED, and since my modem exploded... had more time to complete it..
Next... hope to get the Aile Skygrasper add on soon.. :D my strike looks damn plain..

Banpresto included Gundam Seed into it's latest game Supa Robo Taisen Alpha 3.
So far i only played the beginning part of a super robo male type route.
While i was busy fighting the stupid jupitar aliens( Combattler V enemies ), PLANT joined in the flay to stop the Alpha Team ( The combination of good guys from various anime). The Ginns are slightly more powerful than the usual MS from Zeta-Char's CS ( with 11000 hp instead of the usual 4400 hp). Even Klueze sortie in his Cgue ( 22000 hp, even more hp than most jupitar aliens 0_0 ).
Mwu joined as a temporary ally with his miserable mobius zero ( 4000HP + ). Good to see that Mwu recongized Amuro Ray in some way :D.
But my alpha team trashed them all anyway ( it's only stage 5 ).

hand-paint the models lor, tt's wat i do..
if u know how to do it correctly, it can be as good or even better than air-brushing. However, it's gonna be more time-consuming.
modellers in usa and other countries actually submit hand-painted works to competitions, and win...
