I think this euro 2008, italy will have problem clear the first stage without him.

he's a defender what, less flair the better. i find him exciting probably because of his frame. hes short for a defender, but does his job admirably. that is probably why he is respected. plus he is captain..quite sad la now he is out :(

for his height, he's got a good leap...tough to beat 1 on 1..

his reading is probably 1 of the best in the world...he cuts out danger even before we see it, thus eliminating the need to tackle..

solid and reliable...

but err...we still prefer to watch flashy players like queresma, robinho..

brazilians, notably..hahaha...latin footie is full of flair...

Hi there. I work on the ITV.com team and thought you’d like to know that there is lots of great football content on the site. There’s Euro 2008 stuff – from fixture info to match highlights and news stories which you can see here www.itv.com/Euro2008. What’s more you can watch match previews and all the goals from Euro 2008 so far, and you can also check out match galleries of all the action.

Any feedback you have on the site is always welcome too!

Thanks!
