Is it advisable to shave botak b4 going in?

I am thinking of cutting botak...but I worry if if when I enlist, but my hair don't grow back, what will happen?

Is it recommend to shave botak if I am going in 3 month time? will it better or worse?

Seriously, spend that few bucks more, you go in dun need to shave. Ppl shave liao all the tiny pieces of hair all on the body, cannot bath, you dun have so you are more comfortable, not so itchy.

if your botak not up to standard also must shave... and iirc, during 3month bmt required to cut 2-3times

When you first enlist, the barber will look at your hair (behind supposed to have slope) if it passes, if pass then dun need to shave. By the way, hair is not OC care one, that is the job scope of your CSM and PS.

If you go to a malay barber the day before enlisting and tell him to shave number 1 all the way (remember to trim sideburn), you can probably get away with not getting your head shaved in camp.

You can choose to get a $2 in there if you feel really lucky. They don't clean up their equipment between haircuts. If the people before you have bad hygiene or head lice and such, good luck.
