VR-Zone Fansub Creation..?

Hey guys...

Anyone interested in setting up a Fansub? In the past I have tried setting up a fansub called Anime-Freedom but it din last long for I did not have enuff members and to have fast release seems abit hard.

But of coz...setting up a fansub is not anything easy...
We can get these posts fill up easy:
- Raw-provider
- Encoder
- Typesetter
- Timer
- QC-er
- Distros

But the main problem is the TRANSLATOR.

I wonder if anyone here got any experience in running a fansub, if there is...hope u guys would response =)
Its juz for the fun of it....for subbing a series...giving it a fast release and seeing the leeches meter jump to the thousands...the feeling is juz great. although u would have spoiled the show for urself.

Note: A fansub team member muz dedicate their time on their own accord to sub a series and there will be no gains at all. Its all juz for the passion.

wow... 加油~! looking forward to seeing it... yeah.. can ask lulu 小姐(joking, dun mind ya lulu :D) for translator... would be glad to help, but i only taking jap after entering uni, which is next wk... :(

Language will take years to pick up man...need a very experienced translator....paging for LuLu~ everyone's recommendation

Nah..no legal issues
Legal issues only come in when u sub and distribute LICENSED anime series. If u juz sub and distribute non-licensed series...its still ok...but have to put a stop to it when it has been licensed.

First u would be warned to take off the series from your tracker/site/mirc or other sources. Den soon come another letter, if still carry on...i suppose a lawyer's letter would arrive shortly after that and the offender would be sued.

As Simple as ABC. Just do the right things, would be fine

Seriously have no idea. Only companeis...mostly film companies would license the series under their name. and it cost alot....development fees....advertising fees....workers....alot alot
