Gundam Fighto! READY.... GO!!

Not sure if you guys are familiar with G Gundam as it was aired in Japan in 1995, and currently airing on TV Mobile. After some researching I found out that this series was to commemorate the 15 yrs of Gundam series.
It's about an alternate universe where the human race had decided to live in colonies out in deep space. And in order to avoid world wars, they have decided to hold a tournament every 4 years in which all the colonies will send a representative Gundam Fighter to take part in. The tournament is held on Earth and the winning nation of the tournament will earn the right to have supreme rule over the solar system for 4 yrs. But this yr, a special candidate had entered the tournament representing Japan, and his intention is to hunt down his renegade brother who stole a powerful Gundam, Devil Gundam, from the military and had landed on Earth. What will be the outcome of this hunt?
For those of you who think that gundam is just about robots and laser beams, you're very wrong. This gundam series caught my attention cause of the uniqueness of the fights. They all fight with martial arts, ranging from boxing to shaolin kungfu. :D Definitely a very entertaining series. Also, you all might recognise some of the voice artists, like Jiraiya from naruto, Yzak from Gundam SEED.
Forgot to add another interesting point about this anime, later in the series, there're a lot of cantonese songs being sung, especially during the fights. very interesting indeed..
