Hmm i think the german players especially the senior ones would feel psychologically drained. Back in 2002 they went all the way to the WC Final and lost to Brazil and 6 years on another final loss in Euro 08 to Spain. But looking back in football history this is a national side which had lost the WC finals of 82 & 86 yes bounced back to with WC 90 and Euro 96 so i think we shall see them there n thereabouts in the coming years. Pity the Dutch though - losers in 74,78 and only a 88 Euro winners medal in their recent history
