I didn't get silver my NAPFA....now wait to go for PTP enlistment in Sept...I heard some people say I should go retake my NAPFA to get silver...:dunno:...but I don't know should I take this to train up for NAPFA...or relax a bit until Spet...sigh...
I worried I train until shit...still cannot get sliver...should I go PTP?
Is it better to go PTP?
any feedback on what should I do? seriously most people got go PTP:eh:

You train now, but still can't make it for silver napfa doesn't mean your effort is wasted.. It also helps you when you enter PTP ma

I say you train up and go for PTP, even though it may mean more service time. Your BMT will be considerably less shiong in a PTP batch depending on the coy.
If you're fit in PTP, you'll enjoy your BMT. :P Just dont show them that you're that fit. Gradually better your performance. ;) Trust me, you wouldn't want to go in and get trained by them if you're really unfit.

More time together is, on a general basis, more helpful in the development of relationships especially for newly enlisted personnel. Though sometimes BMT will force these recuits to pick up much faster.
As to the PTP and BMT thing, my suggestion, do you really want the silver for NAPFA? If you really want it, i'd say most people can get it. If not, you can always wait for PTP. I'd suggest you take this as a learning point in the sense that there are consequences, your future will be affected by your current actions.
So if you want to train, sacrifice abit of personal time now, and serve in the army 2 months less. If you want to slack, enlist 1 month earlier than the rest, train to make up for the time you didn't train and ORD 1 month later than your BMT pals. The truly shitty part about PTP is only the point i mentioned, about having an extended length of service.
I've laid all the info down for you. Choose, and be prepared to bear the future consequences of your actions. :D
If you do have any other questions, ask. [BTW if you received your enlistment letter liao i think it's not possible to change, anyone can clarify on this?]

i am from PTP myself, i find the extra time worth it as a 'slack induction' into army as things are not so rushed ... my batch those direct BMT people 3rd week into enlistment go 1 week field camp liao haha ... super culture shock
