You sure you actually watched UEFA?
Or in particular, did you actually watch the performance of Arshavin? Totally no doubt that he's good
And, you actually want to have Ronaldo in? :halo:

I din watch the russian playing. Suprised they can perform so well in this euro'08. and ronaldo, reputation doesn't match with performance.

honestly in big games, ronaldo just disappears.. its a habit you can see even in EPL. :P
though i think your defender, should have ramos
your midfield should have, bronckhorst, ribery (sadly france didnt last long enough for you to really see him in action)
goalie list is good!
sadly the most disappointing are the strikers, ppl like luca toni, henry, mutu, zlatan, all like no show.. either cos no form, no luck or just the team cannot make it far.. hahaha

for this tournament, i think russia and turkey are the teams that impressed me the most with their competitive spirit. and arshavin did much much better than ronaldo so he should be in the best strikers list for his phenomenal performance. but for torres, a bit questionable IMO. though his goal in the finals was the determining goal for spain's victory but overall he did not do very well i feel

I didn't watch much of spain's campaign, but Torres played fantastically well in the finals --> speed, acceleration, strength, technique and a cool head. He didn't score much, but from his finals performance, I reckon he deserve a spot.
Arshavin is just fantastic though...

i think EPL really made torres famous to an extend teams knew that they had to try to shackle him..and that was why he didnt really score much... but then again, generally, spain has a good spread of quality players to bring them all the way to the top.

Best player should be Senna or Schweinsteiger. Maybe Casillas too.
Iniesta wasn't performing that well throughout actually.

hmmmm...quite a good lineup with d exception of CR7! he SUCKS big time ,man! cant live up to the tag of best player! btw, shd include FABIO GROSSO. he's great on the flank n he cld be a good acquisition for EPL.

best player for EURO08 shd have been Schweinsteiger (just my personal opinion). weird that he was not featured much for BAYERN MUNICH due to FRANCK RIBERY performances. for central midfield it shd have been JOAO MOUTINHO. he's just great!protecting the backline and and the same thing going 4ward. for strikers mode....no comment!heheh

Torres did play very well in the final match. and i do agree that he's very much marked by defenders but for some of the matches he did not really seize the chances to score when he got them.

can't believe sergio ramos not in the list... haha... to me he's a good wing back who has a part sometimes in helping out with the attacking too.

i think buffon should be given credit too because he manages to shine even though italy couldnt make it for this euro. :P

his defence let him down especially in the group match against holland but he really did perform well. he's my personal fave goalie but based on this tournament alone, i feel casillas did better. he was always very alert and spot on

yah when he helps, it adds some threatening effect to the opposing team. and he's quite a defender
