US still has the best deals on Electronics. Drop by Fry's electronics, and it will make SLS weep.

Guidelines
1) Never buy things in countries where the standard of living is higher than Spore because U will end up paying more..

2)Unless the thing U wan to buy is make by the country itself...

Tottenham Court Road

Make sure you haggle and push the price of the dealers against each other.

don't use credit card (lots of pin stripping technology available here), pay cash.

Back in 1999, we used to buy electronics here and go over there to sell during our summer breaks. I hear they still do that and make a great profit.

If you live UK, it makes sense to buy things in UK but if you are a visitor or short term stay, forget it. UK has the BEST consumer protection in the world but they pay a high price for it. Besides that protection is only valid in UK and Ireland.
