Serious suggestion needed.

okay, i was involve in an accident on 6th of jan 2006.(BMW 3XX series direct bang me from behind) Already file every report neccessary with TP, Idac, Insurance company (NTUC). Now is my injury claim. I don't know whether to approach a lawyer or to go directly to that fellows insurance company to claim. I did ask a few lawyers regarding the injury claim (medical expenses) n legal fees but all tell me the legal fee will be deducted from the total claim amount. So now i'm really wondering whether to seek a lawyer or not. As my case is sure win because i bo tai bo ji kana bang from behind, and i felt that i shouldn't bare the legal cost because if i nv tio bang i wont have to go hospital for treatment. I also did ask the investigating officer (TP), all he tell me is to go find lawyer if i wanna claim any compensation.... wah lau so confusing wan leh.. die die have to find lawyer?? anybody can give advice?

but seeking a lawyer is really bo hua liao... wat if legal fee is 3k den i only claim 7k den i left i wif 4k???? its just really bo hua leh. somemore i still need to go for medical review, psychotherapy for my thumb if neccessary :(

I was sitting in ME x-ray department last sept, waiting for someone... got 1 lady and another guy doing full body checkup becoz somebody car bang em. They both looked physically well... the lady was even telling somebody on her handphone that since the checkup is free must do everything...

I was sitting in ME x-ray department last sept, waiting for someone... got 1 lady and another guy doing full body checkup becoz somebody car bang em. They both looked physically well... the lady was even telling somebody on her handphone that since the checkup is free must do everything...

the IO(investigating officer) nv say why. but tell me go find lawyer if i wanna claim any medical compensation..... somemore if i wan dat fellow statement i need to pay 15bucks. nowadays all talk money :(

think u need go check up. is usually paid by ur insurance or by the guy. if needed approace a lawyer. they will help u . but they cost money

Medical checkup all done liao. I was admitted(immediately after the accident) to hospital for 5 days n given hospitalisation leave for 2 months liao (dats why u guys see me posting crap here recently :D) i have a few fracture ribs, thumb ligament torn, multiply abrasion etc. looking for a lawyer may not sound right to me because firstly i was warded C4 or donno wat type but is gov subsidizes lor. So the medical expenses is like 1 to 2k. why i wanna claim is because its not my fault to go hospital n further more dat "fellow" just run away without helping me :angry8:

get a lawyer and forward everything to him even the legal cost. Ask for settlement.

However do note if he cannot pay a single cent..... you end up no matter than when u started.

this wan oso have but my company still pays me monthly up to 60days of hopitalisation leave. Only thing i can claim is loss of OT pay.

than add the normal mental stress and trama received etc. permanant injury etc the works... don't suck too much just get the amount right so that the insurance company wouldn't bother to even investiage your claim. I'm sure you can claim back a good sum however finding an "honest lawyer" would be the hard part.

dats why i very vex.... legal fee in singapore is not cheap :( i only want to claim the right amount to cover my future medical expenses as my left thumb now cannot function properly (ligament torn) need therapy... think all the lawyer all same same leh. i did phone a few to enquire, but i scare kana rip off
