car like intergra, S2000, Evo, Rex, Skyline etc the suspension is for racing, so feels abit harder den normal car. But still got pple like to change the suspension as the stock suspension sucks :D
I sit frens car integra, evo, rex all knn lower the suspension n change b4 wan, cornering feels better, but scare the shit outta me :laugh5: but when chiong straight will feel abit bumpy if the road abit uneven

arbaden... you think sunday drive ah?
why do you think that racecar drivers get fatigued after each race... they have to constantly battle the bumps, the g-forces (if fast enuff), keep mentally alert AND keep the car from going outta control.
btw, all racecar drivers drive at the limit - ie anymore power or direction change will cause spectacular results ;)

ish liddat one... if you have ever gone for a F1 race, just sitting at the stands, esp at the entry to or exit of slow corners, the gear change sounds even louder than gunshot! F1 drivers are mostly deaf one! :laugh5:

actually, it is backfire - but a controlled version of it.
But as the exhaust system does not include silencers, baffles and catalytic convertors, the resulting sound is super loud - if you remove them from your regular cars driven on the roads, imagine the traffic noise!!!! :shock1:

eh... engine noise comes mostly from the exhaust lah... the rest is chassis vibrations, brakes, tyre and intake noise

Actually, a significant amount of the noise that a car produces comes from the engine block itself. As you rev it harder, the block starts to vibrate (after all, every piston cycle is the equivalent of a small bomb going off inside the engine). This is why small cars with effective mufflers make a lot of noise when revved to the redline.

Don't believe me? Take a look under the bonnet (hood?), where the engine is mounted to the chassis, and also under the car where the gearbox mounts to the chassis (on a rwd car). Every mount point on any car uses large rubber vibration dampers, to protect the rest of the car from the engine's vibration (which produces the noise).

if you say so... ;)
"This is why small cars with INeffective mufflers make a lot of noise when revved to the redline." I reckon you forgot the "in"... you just reinforced what I said... majority of noise from engine is released into the exhaust system

i notice the 4th bar as around half the vid, the bar has been already flickering with red signals. after that, the guy didn't rev up the engines and start changing at around 6k rpm.

R34 stock rad cmi? dunno whether comparable but my dad did something like this in malaysia and driving at 6.5k rpm of a modded 330HP WRX, it doesn't feel so shaky when you're in the car. it's like the seat absorbs some vibrations and makes it feel a bit like rollercoaster. accelerate and let go accelerator makes you jerk back and forth. the sound of the turbo intake sounds like the engine's "breathing."

There was one R34 featured in best motoring.. Tuned by Mines.. The acceleration of that car is mindblowing even though it "only" had around 600Bhp which is quite easy to obtain in a RB26..:shock2:

The Mines one was wtf really. :D

That car has superb engine response which is very difficult to obtain from heavily turbocharged engines. 1000Bhp is easy on the RB26 but whether you can put that much power on the road is another matter. I don't really think even a pro racing driver can effectively control that much power on a road car.:)

the car you or your dad rode in is still 'streetable' the one in the vid is not... it's a pure race track car... no dampening wat-so-ever... and the seat (yes, only one) is not really cushioned, it's just padded... pure racing seat.

1000bhp is meant for drag, ie straight line... on full track, it will be undriveable at high speed...

Agree!!! btw i feel that 1k bhp is not that easy (compare with 4G63 of course easier) as race fuel needs to used, loads of cooling. Alot of money needed to mod

fuel pump, fuel injector, perhaps a presurised fuel tank
forged piston, titanium valve spring, strengthen crankshaft, conrods, pulley
extractor, exhaust pipe to a damm free flowing one.
big big turbos like GT3240 x 2, big big intercooler, waste gates, big intakes with dual HKS air filter,
Clever computer (maybe put A64 in there?)
many more...

Can fufill my dream of blasting from one end of PIE to another end in 8 mins (too bad cannot 3 min, 41km/300km/h = 8 min ++)
