There are many big major malls for shopping, big brands I find are about the same price, they have local malaysian labels too that will be more affordable. There is a street called Petaling Street which is like a pasar malam, starts in the late morning but mostly fills out in the afternoon and gets busier at night. It's at Chinatown.

Go for food, lots of it! :D The prawn noodle in this ground floor cafe at Mid Valley or Valley something is good. Jalan Alor has a lot of local hawkers on the streets, food varies, some is very good, some is ok, try to eat where the locals are queueing up.

Great Thanks for all the Information, I will definitly check out those places, hopefully I can pick up some good bargins.
I spoke to a friend of mine who is Malaysian, and she told me the prices are a bit more expensive than Bangkok, but cheaper than Singapore.

She also said I will love the food, and the same advice look for where the locals eat.
