going to upgrade my lousy stock HU, I only need a low end with MP3 playback.

went to SLT to jalan jalan, to my surprise, their price is even better than ebay or yahoo auction! the quote is from quite a few shops. I had a very bad experience with SLT back in the 1990 when i was getting my first hifi. is SLT still the place to avoid? or is there other place i can get with better service and similiar price? fyi, the pioneer DEH-P4850MPH is ~$220.

they come wz warranty?else take a walk at Mustafa, they too have a good range of HU.

Is the Pioneer a MP3 player coz the site specs didn't mention anything abt mp3 but mav...

btw, all pioneer HU with MP wording can play MP3.

this is AU version with H at the model naming but the physical appearance is identical except the color.

don't know abt the price in Mustafa...also didn't know abt MP for HU ale to play mp3 cos they own webby specs didn't mention it.

CDX-GT350S? its about the same price as 4850 but I prefer the sound of Pioneer. :)

Yup, they are abt the same price...i like Pioneer but the blue backlight is my most dislike...

I might get the 3850 to save a few tens note. the different from the 4850 is just a smaller display and no CD changer control. hmm...

Do u burn your own disc?If you do, u don't need a changer, front slot does the trick when comes to listen normal cd.

Btw, both look almost the same....almost.

is the brochure from Mustafa? thanks for the info. :)

edited: just saw the image is link from pioneer. i wonder if the 4 speaker worth ~$170. considering the 3850 is ~$200.

Do you think u want to spend so much to buy a Head unit? After buy 3 times HU, i discover if you are someone that drive ot work and wekkend some light driving...it very wasted to fix it something that cost 300-400 coz it just to wasted to sit there and work so little.

Why get a nice looking car or good car?
Any car also can right? a $20k car and a $60k car.. alot of difference.. lolz..

I have a super-duper AMD X2 4400 rig sitting at home rotting..
I only on it once per week when i go home..
But if ppl ask, i have a X2 rig! hehehe..

I guess it's all about owning ba.. lolz!!
